I have the honour to inform you that, in consequence of the rupture

of diplomatic relations between the United States and Germany, the charge of

British interests in the latter country has been taken over by the Government

of the Netherlands.

2.

I have also to state that His Majesty's Government have received

a notification that the care of German interests in this country has been assumed

by the Swiss Minister.
